Dead Space 2 - Limited Edition (PS3)

Well the latest news is that Leila is the voice of the sprawl computer on 'Dead Space 2' the XBox game by EA Games... Leila also recorded some additional voices using some of her various character accents. See how many levels you can spot her on.....

 

Leila has produced a short documentary film 'Asylum' which was awarded a BAFTA 'Gift of the Academy' and premiered in London on 21st April 2010. There are loads of photos available and articles and info about the films awards on the film's dedicated site www.Asylumfilm.com

Appearances included pics from a celeb cricket match and red carpet photos.

Leila in 2008 Leila filmed 'No game'; 'No Talent Required' and various other pieces and several 'voice overs'. Some of these are due to be screened in late 2009 or 2010.

So What was Leila up to in 2007?
After closing at the Millfield Arts Centre Leila packed her bags for America and has been doing some transatlantic shuffling - she is partly based in LA and is doing a Shakespeare season on the East Coast during the summer. She had been asked to do Snow White at Christmas and will then head back to Los Angeles for the 'pilot season'.

Leila played in Mariana Pineda at the Arcola theatre July / August 2006

Once again Leila played an important role as Drama Director for the World Youth Forum held at the Royal Society of Medicine in London to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Charity Youth Support October 2006.

After the successful Shakespeare for kids 2005 Leila held a second children's Summer Drama School in 2006

What was Leila doing in 2005?

Christmas 2005 /6- Leila played the lead in Worthing's Traditional Pantomime - Puss In Boots at the Connaught Theatre from 2 December 2005 - 8 January 2006.

August 2005 - Leila ran the StageCraft Shakespeare for kids 2005 - drama course

July 05 - Leila  filmed the BBC documentary “One Night of Shakespeare”. In this production she was hand picked by the BBC to coach a group of boys to perform in the record breaking Shakespeare Festival.

 

What was Leila doing in 2004?

Well Leila spent a couple of months doing an advanced Shakespeare course at RADA and looks forward to doing more theatre work.

She also spent August working as Drama Director for the World Youth Forum held at the University of the West Indies. Leila did great work for the charity Youth Support when it held the last Youth Forum at the Barbican in 2002 and was invited back to direct youth from all over the world who congregated for the 5th International Congress in Jamaica.

 

Panto Dec 2004 / Jan 2005 was 'Snow White'  with Leila playing the title role. At the Connaught Theatre Worthing

Leila has been interviewed for

'Inside Soaps'

You also had a chance to see her in OK magazine week of 20th December 2003 as bridesmaid to friend Natasha Symm's  (Hollyoakes) wedding to Samuel Hudson (Born and Bred)

Leila was interviewed for the USA based newspaper 'Walford Gazette' and will be flown to New York in the New Year 2004 for a live TV chat about her role as Teresa.
