Leila had a
successful run in Christmas 2002/ 2003 as 'Fairy Bow Bells' in Dick Whittington
and was so entertaining in the role that she was rebooked for 2003/ 2004 to play the
part again - a real piece of Cockney humour! |

without pausing for breath!

Leila did Big Breakfast again and then spent some time in
theatre including a run in open air theatre during the 'so called' summer
- the early part when it was pouring with rain! Her professionalism really
showed as she played
Shakespeare under the stars
to an audience who were covered and warm not showing a
hint of the fact that she was frozen and her Tudor gowns were so saturated
that they shrank throughout the run. Leila is a true actress; nobody who
saw her as Bianca in
The Taming of the Shrew
would have guessed that she was the same girl as played Teresa in
EastEnders. |
